The Cantonese Dialect

    Today, I will be writing about Cantonese and its characteristics, history, uses, and other interesting things about the dialect. Firstly, Cantonese is one of the various dialects found in China. Also, it belongs to the "Yue" family language and it is clustered with many other dialects like "Hakka" and "Hokkien" and it´s found around the city of Guanzhou and its surroundings. In addition, it is considered the main dialect spoken around the city of the previously mentioned Guangzhou and the province of Guandong. It is also, the official language of Hong Kong and Macau. Now, let's discuss it´s linguistics using a system of romanization called "Jyutping" created by linguistics professionals. Firstly, in "Jyutping" there are 6 different tones in Cantonese, but also, sometimes considered to have 9 because, Cantonese has an entering tone and a final tone, unlike modern Mandarin. Introduction:) I am Kamen Juancarlos Ng. I am a student from Cambridge bilingual school. I was born on December, 23rd 2008. I have 12 years old and I'm turning 13 this month, in December. I like football and I love technology. I live in Los Algarrobos in villa July. My parents are Michelle Pan (Li Fen Pan) and Vicente Ng (Chi Wah Ng) My mother is unemployed and works in my home and my dad works in a business, which is a restaurant located next to the Kenny Serracin Baseball Stadium. In this blog, we will see a summary of all of the activities of the writing course during the 2021 academic school year. we will see summaries, pictures, and explanations of the several topics seen in this class.

THE WRITING PROCESS

Clustering and outlining:) in this section of the writing process, we recollect our ideas and brainstorm them into a solid idea. then we outline and cluster our ideas in a conceptual map most of the time. then we add the information and add as many supporting sentences as you want.  Drafting and revising: In this section of the writing process, we recollect the ideas and supporting sentences in our outline and cluster. we start writing our main sentence and our conclusion sentence. then we add the ideas from our mentioned outline and cluster and add also, connecting or transitional words. editing and publishing:  In editing and publishing, we edit and correct from our first draft into a correct and final draft. in editing we obviously edit and change what's incorrect. in publishing, we use our correct and final draft and publish it to the public.

Paragraph Patterns of Organization

 Comparison and contrast:   In paragraph patterns of organization, there's a type of paragraph called "compare and contrast" in this type of paragraph the author compares something with something, and "contrast" is the similarities with those two objects or things. activities: in this activity, we brainstormed our ideas of differences we have in 2017 and 2021. then the next class the teacher checked our ideas and corrected our grammar mistakes. we edited it and we were ready to publish it

what I learned

  thanks to teacher dilcia I learned a lot more extra skills that I wouldn't be able to. with her calmness and relaxed way of teaching I felt more calm and relaxed meaning, I was more productive during her class overall. in conclusion, you're an amazing teacher and I am glad and am grateful that you're were my teacher. thank you
